Third Annual CWJC Ruby Awards Luncheon

What a privilege for Christian Women’s Job Corps (CWJC) to  honor Christian Women in the Greater Arlington Workplace.  The wonderful 3rd annual Ruby Awards Luncheon was held in the beautiful Arlington Woman’s Club on October 6, with Sterling Events & Catering providing the delicious lunch.  Many of the current CWJC participants and several CWJC alumni assisted in serving and clean-up – a perfect opportunity for this group to give back to CWJC and their Arlington community.

Beverly Steinhardt, CWJC alumni shared a moving testimony about the value of the CWJC ministry in her life. Gathering music was provided by Barbara Burkins and entertainment by Annie Laing and Kathi Strawn.  We were blessed with several items to sell in a silent auction as well as items for sale through very affordable raffle tickets.  A special thanks to our sponsors – pictured below, and to all who donated and bought tickets to this memorable, important gathering.
